Another Drive through Minnesota
Below are some more pictures that Candy took today. We do not know what the plant is in the picture below but it was in a marshland area:
The two pictures below show sumac changing colors...very red colors and all over the place in Minnesota:
The last picture is off a fence row on the Glacial Ridge Scenic Byway...another great picture:
The fall is coming to a close quickly and I am glad that we have been given the chance to actually take it in for the first time in a long time. In the past, we were so busy with our duties in our past employment that we did not stop and take it in. What a blessing and a lesson!
Have a great week...we are expecting this to be our best week ever!

Thanks so much for all the pictures of the changing colors...fall is always my favorite season because of the colors and I was really missing it!!! My world is awash with spring flowers but all the subtle pastels and glowing greens framed by the blackness of last year's fires can't compare with the brilliantness of those Minnesota by-ways. I even camped in the Taylor Falls area one summer and with your pics, can imagine how incredible it must be right now! Enjoy~
Hey LJ,
Glad it made you feel like fall. I imagine you have your Halloween socks with you, right? They should help, too. :)
Taylors Falls was beautiful, and we loved the Stillwater area, too, even though it was jampacked with traffic and people.
Would you please take some beautiful pictures of spring down under and email some to me? I'm getting a little of the "winter's-coming-and-that-means-death-to-all-vegetation" blues. :)
